The Leather Stocking Tales

Here are the story lines made famous by James Fenimore Cooper (1789 - 1851), published between 1823 and 1841.  They were not published in chronological order of the stories themselves.  Five story lines, in story chronological order, covering the entire series, are as follows:

     The Deerslayer (1740 to 1755)
The Last Of The Mohicans (1757)
     The Pathfinder (1750's)
     The Pioneers (1793)
     The Prairie (1804)

The over all stories are easily followed with the following radio serials.  Natty Bumppo, known as Hawkeye, Chingachgook, a Mohican, married Wah-to-Wah, who bore hime a son Uncas.  Uncas is the last of the Mohicans and was killed by Magua.

Each of the following broadcasts were aired in the 15 minute format unless otherwise noted.
