It used the premise of how history would have turned out if…., if this historical figure had not died, or if history had changed in this direction or that. What would have happened if Robert E. Lee would have taken charge of the Union Army, or if Abraham Lincoln would not have become President. The series enlisted the aid of the Society of American Historians for background details and was produced in New York.
